7. SM2The Aspiring Professionals Hub is collaborating with Youth Against Crime and not Crime Against You (YACnCAY) to present a free workshop ‘The Employability Event – Career Success for Now and the Future’ on May 20 2017, 11:00 – 14:00 at The King’s Learning Centre, King’s College, London, WC2R 2LS.

How would you define career success? What do you need to do to achieve it? Progressing along your career journey can often seem like running a marathon while encountering hurdles in unexpected places. In today’s employment market, overcoming these obstacles relies less on paper qualifications and more on self-awareness.

This event is not just another ‘CV workshop’ but an interactive, ‘hands’-on’ event  focused on using an active learning based approach to discuss and reflect on what you require to be successful in gaining employment as well as developing your capacity to provide excellence in your current role for the long term.

This event is for you whether you are a job seeker or seeking to move up the career ladder. It is for students (A-Level, undergraduate, postgraduate) who dread being asked ‘What next?’ It is also for early career professionals who are asking themselves the same question. Let’s explore what our answers to this and other career questions are.

We look forward to meeting you at this event.
